Welcome to Update 44.1: Crown of Hamât, Patch 1. Most of these features debuted in the U44 Beta, however were more of a preview and not quite complete. We've also made some modifications based on your feedback (thank you!!).


[FONT=verdana]Dun Shûma, The King’s Fortress (6 Player Instance)[/FONT]

The hostile forces of Ekhamât have claimed Dun Shûma, the hidden fortress of Menûn Shûma III. The ancient ruin is said to hold many historical treasures of the kingdoms of Shagâna. Though Bârshud has retreated, his Umûni still stand opposed to Mizâdi's quest to claim the Crown of Hamât.

This space is open to Tier 2 on Bullroarer.

Legendary Mirkwood
Legendary Endgame for Level 65: Mirkwood and Enedwaith
Endgame group content has been updated for the release of Mirkwood on the legendary servers Angmar and Mordor. Base Health and Damage have been increased for most monsters found within level 65 endgame instances, including those from the Mirkwood and In Their Absence content clusters.

Midsummer Festival
New for this year's Midsummer Festival, you're invited to visit the far-off tropical island of Furtherholm! Located in the Shield Isles off the coast of Umbar in the Bay of Belfelas, a crew of freebooters have retired from a life at sea to open the island as a retreat for travellers from all parts of Middle-earth. Come enjoy the sun and surf and collect rewards for lending a hand!

To start this new summer adventure, talk to Ikhajât in front of the City Stables in Minas Tirith (Midsummer). She can also be found at the Party Tree, Thorin's Hall Inn, inside The Prancing Pony and The Festival Garden in Duillond.

The Midsummer Festival is now active on Bullroarer.

Events

• The Legendary Item Reward Track Season 14 begins Wednesday, May 21 @ 10 AM EDT (Now Active on Bullroarer)
• The Forester Event in Combe now occurs once an hour. There is an alert when the event begins recruiting broadcast to Bree. The event should no longer fall out of synch.
• Whetstones obtained from the Forester Event now appear as Crated Items in the Auction House.
• Whetstones obtained from the Forester Event can now be removed from mail.

General Notes

• Mission banners, catapults, and siege towers, destroyed in the Before the Shadow missions now have burning effects when they are being destroyed.
• Fixed a bug where fish were not being properly awarded in the Rohan Territories
• First Beorning's Jewellery of Helm Hammerhand' 2 piece set bonus now works properly
• We addressed an issue with the guardian grims near the end of The Anvil of Winterstith where they would become untargetable.
• In Ered Mithrin Dori and Company no longer clip into their goats.
• Lore-master "Don't You Touch Him" is no longer erroneously cleansable

• Temple of Utûg-bur
  • Wing 1: Dhorgruth
    • The Death Grip skill used by crawling arms on tier 3 now has the correct AoE size and shape: 120 degree angle and 3m range.
  • Wing 3: Inner Sanctum
    • There was an effect appearing on players that should not have been visible. This effect is now hidden.
• Barad Guldur
  • Shadow Seed's damage has been renamed so that it is more clearly associated with its source skill.
  • The corruption auras applied by the Lieutenant of Dol Guldur once again correctly debuff different damage types:
    • Slowing Shadows reduces Ranged Damage.
    • Draining Shadows reduces Melee Damage.
    • Corrupting Shadows reduces Tactical Damage.
• In Their Absence
  • Stoneheight
    • Bubhosh-grat will now wait 5 minutes before using Champion's Rage.

Ettenmoors

• We adjusted the way the landscape in the Ettenmoors is pinned in an effort to address some of the issue plaguing players fighting on the throughlines near Lugazag, Tol Ascarnen and Tírith Rhaw. Be aware that area near the Elf Camp is still likely to be a difficult area to fight in. We will be making adjustments to the location of the Elf Camp in a future release.

PREVIEW ONLY

• Dun Shuma now has a functioning dungeon map
• Rock is now even more helpful and includes Festivity Tokens in the Festival Token Allowance.
• Rhidden, inside the crafting hall, now grants the Umbar crafting tier to players.
